Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of this site (attendmeet.com) and the AttendMeet service, a product by aerstech, both self-hosted and AttendMeet Cloud (subscription). By using this site, creating an account or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these Terms.
01 Service description
AttendMeet is an AI meeting assistant that automatically joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls, records them, and transcribes and summarizes them. It is offered in two modalities: self-hosted (it runs on the customer's own infrastructure, where the customer controls where recordings and transcripts are stored) and AttendMeet Cloud (operated by aerstech in its cloud, via subscription). Current plans and prices are published on the pricing page. The self-hosted version may be offered by invitation or direct contact depending on availability.
02 Recording consent and user responsibility
You represent that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. AttendMeet is a tool that records, transcribes and summarizes meetings: you are solely responsible for having the legal basis and the consent of all participants before recording or transcribing a meeting, in line with the rules applicable in your jurisdiction and in that of the other participants.
This includes, without limitation: U.S. state recording-consent laws —several of which require the consent of all parties, not just the person recording—; in Colombia, Law 1581 of 2012 and its implementing regulations, under which voice and image are personal data whose capture and processing require the data subject's prior, express and informed authorization (implied consent is not enough); and any applicable biometric data rules.
To help you comply, AttendMeet posts a notice in the meeting chat by default stating that the meeting is being recorded and transcribed. You may disable that notice from your dashboard or when adding the assistant; if you do, you assume full responsibility for otherwise obtaining and keeping the consent required by law, and you acknowledge and accept that disabling it is recorded in an audit log (with date, time and user) as evidence that it was your informed decision. These tools are provided only as an aid: the legal duty to obtain consent is always yours, not aerstech's.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you will hold aerstech harmless —along with its partners and staff— from any third-party claim, complaint, penalty, fine or damage —including from meeting participants, data subjects or authorities— arising from recording, transcribing or processing content without the consent or legal basis required by law. aerstech acts as the provider of the tool and is not responsible for your use of the recorded content or for meeting the consent and data-processing obligations that fall on you as the controller of the information.
03 Acceptable use
By using this site or AttendMeet, you agree not to:
- Record meetings without the authorization or consent required by applicable law.
- Use the product for illegal activities or activities that infringe on third-party rights.
- Reverse-engineer the software for the purpose of unauthorized resale of AttendMeet or its components.
- Interfere with the normal operation of the site or attempt unauthorized access to aerstech's systems.
04 Plans, payment and subscription
AttendMeet Cloud is offered on a subscription basis, with a free trial plan and paid plans (monthly or annual) as published on the pricing page. Payments are processed through third-party gateways — Mercado Pago (Colombia) and Lemon Squeezy (international); aerstech does not store your full payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before renewal. You may cancel at any time from your panel or by contacting us; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the period already paid. Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on your jurisdiction. The self-hosted version is governed by the specific license agreement provided when the product is acquired.
You keep the rights granted by the applicable consumer-protection law. To exercise them or resolve any payment issue, contact us at hi@attendmeet.com.
Fair use. Paid plans include transcription and summaries with no visible minute cap, subject to reasonable use of the service. This is a measure to prevent abuse, not a limit meant for normal use: if an account's usage in a month consistently exceeds the normal use of its plan, AttendMeet may pause new recordings until the next cycle, and you can request additional minutes from your panel. Additional minutes are free and carry no extra charge. AttendMeet may use different artificial intelligence models to generate summaries depending on service load.
05 Intellectual property
The AttendMeet software, the AttendMeet brand, the attendmeet.com site and its content (text, design, logos) are owned by aerstech or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you intellectual property rights over the software or the brand, except as expressly authorized in writing.
06 Privacy
The processing of personal data you provide through this site is governed by our Personal Data Protection Policy.
07 Warranties and limitation of liability
This site and the service are provided "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, aerstech will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or the service.
08 Changes
We may modify these Terms or the service described at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this site; the "last updated" date at the top reflects the version currently in effect.
09 Termination
We may suspend or restrict access to the site, your account or your subscription in the event of misuse or a breach of these Terms.
10 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, with domicile in Bogotá D.C., without prejudice to the rights that local consumer protection or data protection rules grant you in your own jurisdiction.
